Champions Dentistry proudly offers the KöR Whitening Deep Bleaching™ system. It is a tooth whitening procedure that is safe and highly effective, even for stains and discolorations that can’t be eliminated by most other whitening procedures.
The KöR Whitening Deep Bleaching™ system restores your body’s ability to absorb oxygen deeply into the teeth. The oxygen in the bleaching gel can reach stains at the innermost layers of the tooth, where it dissolves the molecules that cause discoloration. The process involves wearing custom-made trays that gradually whiten your teeth safely and comfortably. We offer both daytime and nighttime KöR treatments – this is entirely based upon your personal preference.
For most patients, 14 nights of use are prescribed to achieve desired results. However, if you have more significant staining, Dr. Reagan and Dr. Rooney may slightly extend your treatment time. If you would like to proceed, your case can easily be started by creating digital models of your teeth on our CEREC scanner. This can be done immediately following your next cleaning or during a separate appointment at your convenience.
The KöR Whitening Deep Bleaching™ system is simple to follow and provides excellent results. If bleaching sensitivity is a concern for you, KöR has developed a revolutionary gel that greatly reduces this side effect. After receiving your custom trays and reviewing the treatment with your doctor, you will be instructed to apply the bleaching gel to the trays and use them for at least 14 consecutive days (or nights). Generally, KöR treated teeth improve least six to ten shades on the whitening scale. KöR even treats tetracycline stains which typically develop before the eruption of the permanent teeth. With proper care and maintenance, your newly whitened smile will sparkle for years.
